THE GONZO GRIND WINTER PROGRAM COMING SOON

The Gonzo Grind Winter Program is designed to be a progressive catcher's program that continues throughout the winter in preparation for the start of the outdoor season.

Each month the program will pick up speed and be more challenging as they build a relentless mentality while becoming better athletes. 

Although the Grind is intended to be an entire winter program, sign-ups will remain monthly. The Gonzo Grind participants will be split into 2 evenly distributed groups in order to maximize every catchers development. Coach Gonzo will assign the groups. Preferences or absolute conflicts will be taken into account.

The Gonzo Grind will focus on:

Blocking...Receiving...Transfers...Throwing to bases… Footwork...Flexibility...Explosiveness…

In game situations...Personal goals

The Grind is run by Jon Gonzalez, Big South All Conference catcher at Radford University and former professional player with the Sioux City Explorers (American Association)-2017 and Trois Rivieres Aigles (Canadian American League)-2018. 

Current catching instructor for Coach Rob Valli and the Rowan College of South Jersey Roadrunners,  a usual participant in the NJCAA World Series.
